How to Cook Gluten Afritada

GLUTEN AFRITADA


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 kilo gluten, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups rice water
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1/4 kilo vege-choplets
  • 1 large sweet pepper
  • salt to taste
  • pepper

PROCEDURE:

1. Fry gluten cubes till brown; set aside. Saute garlic in oil until brown.
2. Add onions and tomatoes until tender. Add gluten and water.
3. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Add potatoes and cook until done.
4. Add vege-choplets and sweet pepper.
5. Season and cook for 3 minutes.
