This is a simple tips before you star preparing to cook Salmuera. This is a Salted fish cooked in Coconut Milk with Breadfruit and here's how to make.

Tips: Fish should be salted and stored in a cooled place for 3 days. And we a Camanse fruit know as breadfruit, but if out season, we can use the Nanga( jackfruit) used the unripe one.

  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • black pepper powder
  • 1 camanse (breadfruit) peeled, cubed and boiled

How to prepare:
  • Rub salt all over fish meat. Store in the chiller compartment of the refrigerator, 2 to 3 days and drained well before we used.
  • In a prepared pan, suite garlic, onion and ginger all together in corn oil until just light brown.
  • Pour the coconut milk and bring to boil. Slowly put in the fish slices, then lower the heat and simmer until the fish is cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
  • And lastly place the cooked camanse pieces in a deep serving platter on the side. Lay the fish slices at the center. Pour in the coconut milk and it's done.
