
CAKE:
2 cups All-purpose flour
2/3 cup Unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
3/4 cup Butter softened
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
2 pcs. Whole eggs
1 cup Water
PROCEDURE FOR CAKE:
1. Sift the flour, cocoa. baking powder, baking soda and salt at least 3 times, set aside.
2. Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
3. Add the flour mixture alternately with water and continue to beat until fully blended.
4. Pour mixture into an 8x12x3 baking pan and bake at 325 degree for 45 minutes or until done.
FROSTING:
300 grams Dark sweet chocolate
1 cup All- purpose cream
1 tbsp. Light corn syrup
PROCEDURE:
1. Heat the cream in a saucepan over double broiler. Add the chopped chocolate and the corn syrup and stir until chocolate is completely melted. Chill.
2. When cake is already, beat the chilled frosting until it is fluffer and lighter in color. Use to frost you cake.
