How to Make Pat-In- Pan Chocolate Fudge

PAT-IN-PAN CHOCOLATE FUDGE


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter
  • 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 3 oz. (3 squares) unsweetened chocolate
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
PROCEDURE:


Line 13x9-inch pan with foil so that foil extends over side of pan. In a large saucepan, combine margarine cream cheese and chocolate. Heat just until melted and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition: knead if necessary. Press mixture evenly in foil-lined pan. Refrigerate to set. Remove foil from fudge. Cut into squares or desired shapes. Decorate as desired. Store in a refrigerator. About 2 1/2 pounds.
